For Pinners (registered creators):

• Email address (used for login and account communications)
• Display name, username, and bio (public profile information you provide)
• Social media links (Telegram, X/Twitter) you choose to add
• Exchange affiliate invite links you configure
• Profile avatar URL (sourced from your Google account if you sign in with Google)

For all visitors:

• Page view events (which Pinner pages and offer pages were visited)
• Click events (when a visitor clicks "Register" or "Login" on an offer)
• Hashed IP address (one-way hash, cannot be reversed to identify you)
• Browser user-agent string

2. How We Use This Information

• To provide and operate the PinPerk platform
• To show Pinners analytics about their page performance
• To route visitors to the correct exchange affiliate links
• To detect fraud or abuse
• To communicate with Pinners about their account

3. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• We do not use your data for targeted advertising
• We do not store full IP addresses — only irreversible hashes
• We do not track visitors across other websites

4. Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

• Database hosting: your data is stored on servers hosted by our infrastructure provider
• Authentication: if you sign in with Google, your email and profile image are received from Google
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users

5. Cookies and Local Storage

PinPerk uses a session cookie to keep you logged in as a Pinner. We also store a language preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your preferred language. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

Pinner account data is retained as long as your account is active. Analytics event data (page views, clicks) is retained for up to 2 years. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pinperk.com.

8. Children's Privacy

PinPerk is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed sensitive values, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Pinners of significant changes via email. Continued use of PinPerk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
